Shopping for Mortgage Interest Rates

We finally have our final inspection last Monday. Yesterday the appraiser came. The house was appraised for $650k. Hubby still needs to install the wood floor. He’s s still busy cutting and installing the window and door trims. We’re getting closer and I’m getting nervous. I should start calling mortgage companies and shop for rates. I feel like shopping online is better. I can’t trust ads in the newspaper, on the radio or on the TV. Rates change every day. To me, ad quotes aren’t reliable. I searched online and requested quotes from the following companies: Lending Tree, Integrity Premier Lending, and USAA Mortgage Loans. I’m hoping to get quotes all on the same day. Rates don’t stay the same every day and hopefully the next day I’ll call back whoever give me the best quote and lock in. I just want the best deal.
