Got back from KY
We made it back last Wednesday morning 12:30 but it’s taken from then till now to write this. We live in a 5th wheel trailer but didn’t leave any heat on. (duh on my hubby's part). The night before we got back, it was -4º. The guy that was supposed to turn our heaters on the day before we got back, didn’t.
He lost the key. It was 25º when we got in. brrrrrrr Fuse blew on the fridge somehow but of course nothing warmed up but the ice cream, two days later. Drains froze up. Water lines froze. Pulled the furnace to find a blown motor. Got water lines thawed. Snow dumps, hubby needs to shovel. Got motor for furnace. Got last drain line unfroze (ew.. frozen crud in that one).
Hubby got the motor in the furnace and installed it yesterday. Worked great for one cycle, then wouldn’t come back on. Hubby pull the furnace again today but today it’s raining over all that snow and of course ya know when it rains, it POURS. At least hubby don’t have to shovel the roofs now. :)
5th wheel trailer heaters aren’t made for Tahoe winters with full time residents in it. This one’s 13 years old too. :(
